Eduardo Mufarej
Eduardo Mufarej is a Brazilian entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. He is a co-founder of the investment company called Tarpon Investimentos, which manages several private equity funds focused on Brazilian businesses. From 2014-2018 he led the largest k-12 education company in Latin America, Somos Educação.
Aside from his business ventures, Mufarej is also involved in philanthropic work. He is a founding member of RenovaBR, a non-profit organization that aims to promote political renewal in Brazil by training and supporting new political leaders.
Eduardo is also the founder of Good Karma Partners, a leading “impact” partnership in Latam, focused on education, healthcare, and climate.
Mufarej has been recognized for his contributions to business and society. In 2018, he was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year. Eduardo is a member of the advisory board of the Wilson Institute, of the Bloomberg Cities Council, and a fellow at Stanford University.
